PSUTOPRIVATE (P2P) was created with one simple mission: To help experienced professionals from PSU and Government organisations unlock opportunities through India's leading one-year MBA programmes and successful corporate careers.
For more than six years, we have focused exclusively on understanding the unique challenges faced by PSU professionals and helping them confidently present their experience, leadership and potential.
The Problem We Set Out To Solve
In 2020, after graduating from the Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) at IIM Bangalore, I noticed something that many people overlooked.
Professionals from PSU and Government organisations possessed exceptional aptitude, technical expertise and real-world leadership experience. Yet many found it significantly more difficult than their corporate counterparts to secure admission into India's leading one-year MBA programmes and later transition into corporate careers.
During the COVID-19 period, this gap became even more visible.
While professionals from consulting, technology and multinational companies often relied on previous corporate experience and professional networks, many equally capable candidates from PSU and Government backgrounds struggled to communicate the value of their experience.
The Problem Was Never Capability.
The problem was positioning.
Strong professionals often found it difficult to present their achievements, leadership experiences and career aspirations in a way that MBA admission committees and corporate recruiters truly understood.
That observation became the foundation of PSUTOPRIVATE (P2P).
Together with fellow graduates from IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore and ISB, we started building a mentoring platform dedicated exclusively to professionals from PSU and Government organisations.
Today, after more than six years, P2P has helped professionals from more than 30 public sector organisations secure admissions into India's leading one-year MBA programmes.
For nearly three years, P2P also contributed to placement support initiatives across ISB, IIM Calcutta and IIM Indore. This provided first-hand exposure to how MBA admissions connect with corporate hiring, helping us guide candidates not just towards MBA admissions, but towards meaningful long-term careers.

Abhinav founded PSUTOPRIVATE after personally experiencing the challenges of transitioning from the public sector into the corporate world.
After spending nearly eight years in the Indian Railways, he pursued the Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) at IIM Bangalore and successfully transitioned into Product Management.
Throughout this journey, he realised that professionals from PSU and Government organisations often possessed exceptional capability, but struggled to communicate their experiences in a way that MBA admission committees and corporate recruiters truly appreciated.
That realisation eventually led to the creation of P2P.
Today, Abhinav personally mentors candidates on profile positioning, career storytelling, application strategy, essays and interviews while continuing to work as a Product Manager in the technology industry.

Shalini brings a unique perspective from the consulting world, helping candidates understand what leading business schools and recruiters expect from experienced professionals.
Having worked in Business Consulting with a focus on Mergers & Acquisitions before completing her MBA from IIM Indore, she combines structured thinking with deep understanding of candidate evaluation.
She works closely with candidates on profile positioning, essays, interviews and leadership narratives, helping them present balanced applications that combine professional achievements with personal authenticity.
