National University of Singapore, Business School (NUS MBA)

Why NUS?

For an MBA aspirant the choice of the B School becomes a very important factor. The choices can range from top universities in the US to top universities in India. The primary differentiator being the amount of money you need to cough up to cover the program fees of these universities and the job markets the universities let you access. The US and European schools give you a great opportunity to pursue a career in International firms and land jobs in foreign countries but these schools have tuition fees that are on the higher end of the spectrum.

One of the best MBA programs which provides you with a “best of both worlds” option is NUS. The school lets you access international job markets like Singapore and Hong Kong that have a high demand for MBA graduates yet the fee structure of the program is moderate when compared to top foreign Business Schools. The NUS B School is ranked 15th Globally by Financial Times MBA ranking standard. The fees for the 2020 intake stand at SGD 65,000 or INR 35,00,000. Such a fee is much less compared to the fees demanded by other top international B Schools with similar rankings as NUS.

The college also provides a dual degree program in collaboration with Peking University MBA, called NUS-Peking University MBA (PKU) and HEC Paris called NUS-HEC Paris MBA (HEC). Students from China usually prefer the PKU collaboration. As an Indian candidate you may find the HEC degree to be of more value for you. You however you need to keep in mind that for the dual degree program, you need to apply to both schools and have to be accepted by them respectively. There are other collaborative programs as well.
