About the college
INSEAD is a graduate business school with locations in Europe (France), Asia (Singapore), the Middle East (Abu Dhabi), and North America (San Francisco). The original campus (Europe campus) is located in Fontainebleau, near Paris, France. The name "INSEAD" originated as an acronym of Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires (French for '"European Institute of Business Administration"').
INSEAD offers a full-time MBA program, an Executive MBA (EMBA) program, a Master in Finance program, a PhD in management program, a Master in Management program and a variety of executive education programs.
INSEAD is consistently ranked among the world's top business schools. Its MBA program has been ranked 1st globally in 2016 and 2017 in the Financial Times Global MBA Ranking, and 2nd in the 2018 ranking. Latest Ranking keeps it at the 3rd place worldwide. INSEAD has the second highest number of MBA alumni holding Chief Executive Officer Positions in 2015 in the Financial Times Global 500, which is composed of the world's largest companies by market capitalization.
MBA program details
INSEAD offers two MBA schedules per year: one starting in September which takes ten months to complete, and a 12-month promotion starting in January for students who want to complete a summer internship.
The INSEAD MBA curriculum comprises required core courses and electives. The core covers traditional management disciplines including finance, economics, organizational behavior, accounting, ethics, marketing, statistics, operations management, international political environment, public policy, supply chain management, leadership and corporate strategy. There are 75 electives on offer in areas such as accounting and control, decision sciences, economics and political science, entrepreneurship and family enterprise, finance, and organisational behavior, strategy, marketing, technology and operations management. Students are required to speak two languages upon entry and a third by graduation.

Financing and Scholarships
Tuition fees for the September 2020 intake are €87,000. The fees are payable by installments. INSEAD distributed over $5.7 million in scholarship funding to the 2019 graduating classes and 30% of students received awards – averaging €18,700
Work experience required
INSEAD does not have an absolute requirement for years of work experience, although at least two years is strongly encouraged. Participants in our current class have an average of 5.5 years work experience, with the range being between two and ten. However, applicants with less experience who demonstrate exceptional maturity and outstanding leadership through their professional and personal experiences will also be considered.
